A World to Drift into…

Hello World!
As two young adventurers living in Boston, Jessica and I are beginning this blog to write about planning a bike trip across the United States of America, and then to blog from the road once we’re out there seeing our homeland.
Jessica will write more herself, but her goal is to find her inner Urban Indian and to spread the word about the Aboriginal plight in Australia – her deepest passion.
My bucket list includes seeing as many National Parks and as much as this country as possible. My secret (well not so secret) hope is we’ll keep on going past the States and bike around the world!
As we save money, learn skills, buy and test supplies, we’ll post our reviews and experiences here for you all to enjoy and learn through observation.
Currently, Jessica is saving as much money per month as possible, while I’m about to start once I move in three weeks into a roommate situation. My goal is to save $10,000 before heading out, but we’re also going to WWOOF and once we come up with a specific mission, will probably fundraise.
Jessica is a writer and producer and I’m a filmmaker, so we’ll probably fundraise to make a documentary on the road. We’d love idea suggestions!
Anyway, it’s time to run off to bed, but I’ll be posting about my REI Bike Maintenance course on Wednesday. Look forward to posts about our bike brands, tents, lanterns, locks and many, many other good things!
